Article marketing may be one of the easiest and cheapest ways of getting traffic to your site as long as you are able to write a couple hundred words that will capture your readers. That said, even though your articles may never be read, they are capable of generating traffic to your site by increasing you’re the links going back to your site.

The most important thing to change is the header and footer, the middle is “not” that important, but at least try to replace a couple words.
If you got a whole bunch of PLR articles at your disposal then you might try to take the best out of let’s say 5 different articles and create one article that is a summary of all the others.
